And at the end of the competition, Yuri Ivanovich Koryukhov decided to share with us about how he did his own hands assembling an electricity metering board in a country house.

So, just a minute of attention.

Having built a small country house, we are faced with a problem: who will we install electrical wiring?

It would not seem to be desirable to hire an electrician, because basically we built everything with our own hands, and most of the electricians are always busy or throw up decent amounts. We will try to do everything ourselves, there is enough literature on the Internet, all the material in the stores is there, and hands grow from where it is necessary.

Go.

Before I decided on the layout of the internal wiring, and the external one, too, I also need to connect a separate utility unit. I came to the conclusion that 3 outgoing lines (groups) would be enough: group 1 - rosette line group 2 - lighting group 3 - hozblok

Started with the installation of electricity metering panel. Decided on the material.

For members of gardening, as always, they release not so much power, so we will be quite modest in requests for installed capacity.

I start by selecting the necessary electrical equipment: the electricity metering board itself, the RCD, circuit breakers, the electric meter, the taverns, the conductors (copper wires).

Purchased the following material:

I think a special tool is not needed, but I myself think that a bad tool only kills time, and it’s pretty unnerving.

Getting to the installation.

For convenience, I remove the panel mounting plate and roughly positioned our devices without fixing them on the din-rail. Yes, everything is fine, everything fits, access is wonderful.

The PE grounding rail is fastened directly to the panel with screws, after having previously cleared the paint from the point of contact. Contact must be good. I install the introductory circuit breaker, RCD, electric meter, single-phase circuit breakers. The zero splint N with an insulated base was also installed on the din-rail.

For installation, I use single-wire copper wire of the PV1 brand, the required colors, but another wire is possible, just do not need to use multi-wire. There are several reasons - it is badly crimped with contacts, if it is not tinned or pressure-tested with sleeves. In general, some problems.

Wire colors: Phase conductor - white neutral operating conductor - blue neutral protective conductor - yellow-green

The wires will immediately be adjusted in length and bend as needed for convenient installation.

Due to the fact that we receive power from a single-phase two-wire overhead line with a grounding system TN-C, where the working zero N and protective zero PE conductors are combined, and for correct operation of the RCD, the TN-S or TN-CS system is needed, the connection diagram The electricity metering board has some peculiarities, namely: the supply neutral conductor PEN is connected directly to the PE bus, and then from the PE bus to the contact of the input automaton and further to the zero contact of the electricity meter.

Do not forget the correct and reliable sequence of clamping the contacts of the meter.

The outgoing neutral conductor from the electric meter through the RCD I connect to the zero working connection N.

Everything is in principle ready. Then I will hammer the grounding conductor (the grounding device ZUU or, in other words, the ground loop) and the grounding conductor - later I will connect it to the PE busbar. RCD will reliably work out. After that, when all electrical wiring is connected, I’ll check on all outlets.

And in the end I drew a single-line diagram and fixed it on the door of the metering panel.
